For many of us, life brings up unexpected, often challenging experiences. In these moments, and in periods of ongoing difficulty, we need support. It can be hard to rely entirely on our family or friends in these times, and our relationships can be the source of pain and emotional problems.
Psychotherapy can provide an open and confidential space to explore and get clear on a situation and how to relate to it skilfully. It can be freeing to talk honestly and openly with someone, who doesn’t know you in a social, work or family context, and who is trained to help you understand and improve your relationship with yourself and others.
Psychotherapy is not a “quick fix,” (and if it claims to be, it is often short lived,) but a way of coming into increasing self awareness, wellbeing and empowerment. Competent therapy develops our resilience, self-knowledge and self-acceptance, improves our relationships and our capacity to love.

I work in a collaborative, and curious way to explore what might be obstructing your growth and happiness. I use my diverse training to tailor each session to your personal and unique needs and strengths. We can work to uncover inner and outer obstacles and connect with your authentic self and what is most meaningful to you.

Coaching for Young Women

It is important to support a healthy sense of self worth, self-belief and confidence in our teen girls. Unfortunately, girls are often not supported or encouraged to be autonomous, powerful, or pioneering. Girls are socially conditioned to be in supportive, “pleasing” roles, and to be the victim rather than the architect of their own lives.
I feel passionately about creating spaces, in the form of groups and individual sessions, where teenage girls can flourish. One of my aims is to support today’s girls become tomorrow’s innovators and leaders, pursuing their passions, and making valuable contributions to diverse, currently male-dominated industries as well as in traditionally feminine roles. I aim to support every girl that I work with access her amazing and unique potential.
Possible areas of focus: friendship/relational challenges, anger, anxiety, stress, school difficulties.
